About Us

Taunton Aerospace was formed from a Management Buy-Out from Thales in 2007.

Aerospace components have been manufactured in Taunton (as Avimo Ltd and after 2000 as Thales Optronics (Taunton Ltd)) since 1939.

In October 2008 Taunton Aerospace acquired the business of Elkins Business Services Ltd giving us the ability to supply precision machined components.
